Include the rooms, approximate dimensions, stairs and whether the space is furnished. Mention pet accidents and any products already applied. Ask which cleaning approach is suitable for the fiber and backing, what spot treatment is included, and whether moving larger furniture is part of the quote.
Pick up small loose items and point out problem areas before work begins. Ask for preparation instructions before moving heavy furniture. Drying varies with the carpet, cleaning method, airflow and room conditions; confirm when to walk on the carpet and when furniture can be returned.
