Look for the manufacturer’s care label and share any fiber information available. Removable covers are not automatically machine-washable. Decorative trims, backing, padding and different fabrics on the same piece can affect what is appropriate.
Body oils, food spots, general soil and pet accidents are not interchangeable concerns. Include the number of pieces and cushions, whether cushions reverse, and any spot products already applied. Cleaning cannot promise to reverse fading, abrasion or fabric damage.
Clear small items around the furniture and arrange for pets to stay away during the appointment. Ask whether the entire piece or selected areas are included, how cushions should be positioned afterward, and when the seating can be used. Avoid relying on a fixed drying time before the fabric is assessed.
